Artist Alert Web Site and Facebook Application
The Challenge: New York startup MyHound Media wanted to build a consumer entertainment platform to provide users with a free, easy way to keep up with their favorite entertainment passions.
The Solution: Mass Transmit created strategy, branding, design and technology, developing a Web site, email alert engine and Facebook application. The MyHound properties send film, album, event and other entertainment news and releases to users from the Web site or via the Facebook application.
The My Hound database environment culls data from a variety of sources to provide users with artist and product information as well as readings, concerts and local events. The Web hub, MyHound.com, allows users to sign up for email notifications of new product releases and events in their areas of interest. The site provides entertainment products and news related to the creative talent that produces those works, such as authors, singers, musicians, filmmakers, and actors. The Facebook application combines the viral power of Facebook with the MyHound alert system.
